Tutoring and study enrichment is available before and after school. Parents are encouraged to register in advance and must purchase a punch card for billing. Occasional use is an option.

Students may be dropped off as early as 6:00 a.m. for morning enrichment. Drop off is at the cafeteria patio door on the south side of the building. Use the normal clockwise traffic pattern to approach the door. Students will be signed in by the morning supervisor on duty. Students will be dismissed to the gym at 7:15 a.m. Morning enrichment will include study time, opportunity to take Accelerated Reader tests, and an opportunity to visit with teachers as arranged by parents.

Students will assemble in the cafeteria immediately after the end-of-day bell and will be signed in by the afternoon supervisor. Students must be picked up by 6:00 p.m. After 6:00 p.m., parents will be charged an additional $5 per 15 minute period (1-15 = $5, 16 to 30 = $10, and so on). Afternoon enrichment will include a snack, time for exercise, an opportunity to take AR tests, time to read, time to study, time to visit teachers as arranged by parents, and time to work with study partners or tutors.

Parents may register using the form located on the website. Cost is a flat fee of $4 for mornings and $12 for afternoon. Use of the ESS is pay-as-you-go. Occasional users are welcome, but should register in advance and purchase a punch card. Morning drop-ins should be coordinated the day before in order to ensure the morning supervisor is aware of the student or students and can make sure the cafeteria is ready. Afternoon drop-ins should notify the school office by 1:00 p.m. in order to help assure teachers, students and the afternoon supervisor are aware of how many students will attend. Punch cards will be available at and after orientation.

Mr. Shane Neaves

Site Coordinator

My name is Shane Neaves. I am the Extended School Care Coordinator here at St. Paul. I started just a few months ago and already feel right at home. I graduated from Boone County High School and went onto Gateway where I received my early education certification as well as a Kentucky directors credential from the state of Kentucky. This will be my 7th year working in early education. In my spare time, I love hanging out with my horses and enjoy riding with my nephews.
