The St. Paul School Cross Country Team started in 2011 and allows children grades 2-6 to compete against other schools in running races that are anywhere from 1000-3000 meters. Kids learn the fundamentals of long distance running, get to compete at the individual and team level, and get to learn that running as part of a group can be a lot of fun. Cross Country season is a fall sport that starts towards the end of summer break and continues into October.
For more information about the cross country team, see the “St. Paul Cross Country FAQ’s” on the website or email Jeremy Hurm at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The practices are held at property at my house. The address is 11767 Dixie Hwy., Walton Ky. Since it is on a farm, I would not use GPS to get there. I would take 75 South to Richwood, get off the exit and take a left. Go up to US 25 (Dixie Hwy) and take a right. Look closely at your odometer and go exactly 1.3 miles and you will see 2 gravel drives on your right. Take the second gravel drive and when this drive splits, stay right and you will see the cross country course and parking just on your left. Call me at 859466-8181 if you have trouble.
