Education/Background

Hello current and future 4th grade families,

My name is Lauren Gabbard and I am the 4th grade teacher here at St. Paul. I grew up in Northern Kentucky with my parents and 2 older brothers. I went to public school, but I grew up in St. Paul Church. I went every Saturday or Sunday with my family, and I even attended CCD classes here every Wednesday until I was in 8th grade. I received my First Communion and Confirmation at St. Paul. I was married here as well by Father Barth and had both my sons baptized here. I have loved being a part of the St. Paul Community.

I have been married for almost 4 1/2 years now, to my husband, Tyler. We have 2 little boys, Jaxson will be 3 in September and Lincoln will be 1 in October. They keep me very busy when I’m not at school.

I graduated from Northern Kentucky University with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education.

This will be my 8th year teaching, I taught 5th grade in the Kenton County School district my first year, but St. Paul feels like home to me. My first year at St. Paul I taught 4th grade, then was needed to teach kindergarten for 3 years and now I’ve been back in 4th grade for 2 years. I look forward to working with you and your children each day. I love what I do, and if I can help and influence even one child’s life then I am doing something right.
