Education/Background

Welcome to St. Paul!  My name is Stephanie Erwin and I am a Kindergarten teacher.  I grew up in the Northern Kentucky area and am the youngest of four children.  All of us attended St. Paul School and my mom was a teacher here for 30 years. I graduated from St. Henry District High School in 1992.  After graduation, I attended Eastern Kentucky University where I obtained my degree in Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education with an emphasis in Special Education.  Later, I received my Master’s Degree in the same field from Northern Kentucky University. I have taught in both Campbell and Boone County Public schools before coming to St. Paul.  This will be my 25th year of teaching and my 14th year at St. Paul.  I was recognized as the Florence Rotary Teacher of the Year in 2020.

I met my husband while in college and we married in 2002. We have 3 children.  My daughter is a St. Henry District High School graduate and attends Kansas State University where she studies graphic design and is on their rowing team.  My oldest son recently graduated from St. Henry District High School and will begin attending Eastern Kentucky University in the fall where he will study aviation.  My youngest is a junior at St. Henry District High School.  For fun, I love to cook, go to the movies, walk, and be with friends.  As a family, we enjoy playing board games and camping.

I look forward to a great school year and getting to know each of my students’ families!
