Education/Background

Welcome to Kindergarten!  I look forward to getting to know my students and their families this school year.   I grew up in the Northern Kentucky area and am the youngest of 4 children.  All of us attended St. Paul and my mom was a teacher here for 30 years.  At that time, St. Paul only went to 6th grade, so I went on to middle and high school at St. Henry and St. Henry High School (graduated in 1992).  After graduation, I attended Eastern Kentucky University where I obtained my degree in Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education.  Later, I received my Master’s Degree in the same field from Northern Kentucky University. This will be my 21st year of teaching and my 11th year at St. Paul.  I met my husband while in college and we married in 2002. We have 3 children.  My youngest son will be a 7th grader at St. Paul and my older two attend Saint Henry District High School. For fun, I love to cook, walk, and be with friends.  As a family, we enjoy playing board games and camping.

Prayers to all for a healthy, successful and exciting 2020-2021 School Year!
