Education/Background
I grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio where I attended grade school at Guardian Angels Elementary School and then graduated High School from St. Ursula Academy in 1984. I received a Bachelor’s of Science in Special Education and began my career teaching in Covington, Kentucky. While teaching in Covington, I obtained my Masters of Education with an emphasis on Learning and Behavior Disorders from Northern Kentucky University. I later obtained my Rank 1 in School Counseling from Xavier University.
I remained in Covington Independent Schools for 32 years. After retiring from public school, I came to St. Paul, and have now enjoyed my fifth year as a school counselor. I look forward to the years to come.
I live in Independence with my husband, Doug. We have four children ranging in age from 16-31. They too grew up in Catholic Schools. They all graduated from Holy Cross High School, where my youngest now attends. Our family enjoys the Arts as well as hiking and visiting new places. Now, we spend a lot of our out of school time traveling attending Olympic Weightlifting Competitions with my son.
