Education/Background

My name is Joyce Adams and this will be my 25th year at St. Paul as the Resource Teacher. I enjoy working with children to help them overcome their varied educational challenges. I started as a parent volunteer while my daughter was in the second grade here.

I grew up in Edgewood, KY, the youngest of six children who all attended Catholic schools. I am a graduate of St. Pius and Villa Madonna Academy. I completed my undergraduate work at NKU with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education/Special Education. I’m certified to teach elementary grade K-8 and special education grade K-12. I hold a Master’s Degree from NKU as well specializing in reading instruction. Upon graduation, I held positions in the Kenton County School System and in Northern Ohio. I’ve been married to my husband for 39 years and we have one daughter and a son-in-law. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling and relaxing at our lake house. I also enjoy shopping with my daughter and two sisters.
