Education/Background
I grew up on the westside of Cincinnati in a catholic family. I attended Our Lady of the Visitation for grade school before moving on to Elder High School where I graduated in 1990. After high school, I enrolled for college at the University of Cincinnati where I obtained my degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Business Administration.
I currently am in my 30th year of law enforcement. My first 29 years was with the Florence Police Department where I finished the last six years as Chief of Police. During my law enforcement career, I had the opportunity to attend various training and was a 2006 graduate from Northwestern University’s School of Police and Command Staff.
I met my wife Tricia when I was living in Cincinnati, and we have been married for nearly 30 years. We have three kids and recently celebrated the birth of our first grandchild. We have been St. Paul parishioners since we moved to Florence back in 1996. All three of our kids either attended St. Paul School or the St. Paul Religious Education Program. I am excited to be a part of such a great staff and to be the first School Resource Officer for the school.
