Education/Background
I was born in Connecticut and moved to the NKY area permanently when I was in middle school. I attended NKU and Cincinnati State Technical College after graduating from Campbell County High School in 1996. I received my Bachelor of Arts and my Associate of Business with a minor in Marketing from NKU. I also received my Associates of Business in Culinary Arts from Cincinnati State.
I worked in the culinary field since graduating high school where I realized my passion for food, nutrition and hospitality. That part of my career took me to high end restaurants and bakeries in the Cincinnati/NKY area until late 2011, when I decided to cut back on my work hours and spend more time with my children. At that time, I took on the position of working at Mary, Queen of Heaven in the cafeteria until 2024. From 2013 through 2024, I ran the Fish Fry at MQH which was very rewarding.
I grew up Baptist and converted to Catholicism in my mid 20’s. I have been married to my husband Joe for almost 22 years and we have two amazing children, Audrey and Ben. We love to camp and spend a lot of time outdoors. Joe and I are very family oriented and spend as much time as we can running to sporting events for our own children as well as extended family.
