Archery Team sign ups close October 3, 2025

Two registration options. Registration that includes a uniform shirt or registration without a uniform shirt. Everyone needs a uniform shirt but you are allowed to use yours from the past if it still fits. Equipment is supplied by the school if needed.

Practice and Team Make Up

Practices will start in November and be held on Fridays.  Meets start late November and run through mid March.

Elementary Team – Grades 4 and 5

Middle School Team – Grades 6, 7 and 8

Up to 24 Archers on each team. This is coed so both Boys and Girls compete together. Up to 24 archers shoot at a meet and the top 12 scores are counted for the team score. Top scores must include at least 4 Boys and 4 Girls then followed by the next highest 4 archers regardless of gender.

Archery meets will be in the NKY area at various schools that host a shoot/tournament. Parents are responsible for all transportation. All archers use the exact same equipment to keep a level playing field. The school will provide the equipment but archers can use their own bows and arrows. Please talk to Coach Glier before purchasing any bows/arrows, only certain ones are allowed for competition.

Meets are held on weekends. Meets last all day but our teams will be assigned a shooting window which is approximately 1 hour. Archers only need to be present during our window. I will do my best to work with the kid’s schedules and shoot times. Several archers are involved with other sports on weekends.
